Rumbletree Develops NH Website for Students and Teachers

Portsmouth, NH - September 9, 2008
Rumbletree has developed a new website as an educational resource for students and teachers to help them learn about the Granite State. The user-friendly site is also available in Spanish to benefit more people.

“We often receive questions from students across the state and country who have been assigned written reports or projects on the state of New Hampshire,” said Alice DeSouza, Director of The New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development, “We are happy to announce the launch of a dynamic new website that will be a great resource for both students and teachers.”

Rumbletree designed the student resource website from the ground up, taking into consideration historical information and facts that students are required to learn as part of the New Hampshire grade-school curriculum. Rumbletree also added elements of fun by creating games, coloring pages, puzzles and a photo gallery of iconic New Hampshire images. The “Features For Teachers” section houses educational resources including downloadable classroom worksheets, handouts and a quiz.

"The student website was a fun project for the team to work on," said Lori Dennis, Account Manager at Rumbletree, "The whole office was able to brush-up on our state history and working on the site reminded us of how lucky we are to call New Hampshire home."

The student resource website is available at www.visitnh.gov/student and in Spanish at www.visitnh.gov/student/esp/.
